Puma 3 Self-propelled, 4-row harvester

FEATURES

The AVR Puma 3 demonstrates the series superiority on the market of self-propelled four-row harvesters.

This hypermodern harvester is efficiency at its best and lifts harvesting to the next level with its large and flexible cleaning capacity, high maneuverability and maximum potato friendliness.

The Puma 3 can optionally be fitted with the patented Varioweb module. This cleaning module is a combination of a pintlebelt and an axial roller set. The cleaning intensity can be adjusted continuously, and what’s more, the axial roller set can even be removed from the potato flow if little cleaning is required. With the Varioweb, the user can adapt the cleaning level to suit the harvesting conditions.

It is a robust machine that nevertheless remains reasonably lightweight
with its 23,500 kg. The engine’s mounting position ensures a proper counterweight for the elevator. This optimal weight distribution guarantees an equal load on the tires and a minimum amount of track forming.

The powerful 12.8 liter Stage IV Volvo engine delivers 469 hp, or 1 hp per 50 kg, making
the Puma 3 the strongest machine in its class, which is noticeable in the field. Thanks to
30% more traction in the front and 15% more in the back, the Puma 3 can continue where
others are forced to give up.

Its compact build and low weight, combined with an extremely wide steering radius
(50° at the front and 20° at the back), ensure a very high maneuverability. All components have a simple, yet very efficient design. When you enter the spacious cabin, you are ready for any harvesting job.

The combination of check and suction valves and the hood’s specific shape cause
a strong suction effect, which makes it possible to top any kind of haulm. The new type of flail has been specifically designed for long-haulm crops.

The harvesting channels are 1,450 mm wide for the model with 4×75 cm rows (or 1,550 mm for 4×90 cm). With the pulled non-sticking plastic diabolos, the pulled cutting discs and the large haulm intake rollers, the digging unit ensures an unfailing and very reliable potato intake.

The ridge pressure can be adjusted under all circumstances, which means the ridges remain intact and all potatoes are removed from the soil.
